Marketing and Social Media Lead

*We are only reviewing applicants that are currently based in Honolulu, Hawaii. This is not a remote position*


We are looking for someone who is excited by the opportunity to define, shape, and grow the marketing department at Liliha Bakery. The ideal candidate is a thought leader and can work cross-functionally with store managers, creatives, and the corporate office. You will play a key role in building brand awareness through marketing campaigns and brand partnerships. If you are inspired by consumer behavior, pop culture, trends, all things food and beverage, we’d love to meet you! This role requires an entrepreneurial spirit, imagination, hustle, and a positive attitude.  

Digital Strategy

  • Develop and maintain a content calendar with marketing applications 

  • Manage social media channel (post, engage, and analyze)

  • Track website and social media analytics and provide analysis and updated strategy

  • Distribute content and information across all digital properties – website, social media, yelp, google my business, email

  • Create and develop relationships with influencers inviting to special dinners and events to promote the brand on a regular basis

  • Update and manage website

Advertising/ PR

  • Work with media representatives to schedule advertisements

  • Work with creative team to plan, produce, and schedule commercials and photoshoots

  • Create digital ads in house

  • Create digital promotion through google, youtube, Facebook, and Instagram

  • Create monthly advertising schedule

Signage/ Ambiance

  • Responsible for creating, updating, and distributing store signage as needed. This includes: Menus (digital & print), banners, table tents, marketing collateral, signs, Happy Hour flyers

  • Responsible for curating a playlist via Spotify

Business Development

  • Source packaging and merchandise 

  • Seek and create opportunities in the market where our brands can capture an audience

  • Ideate and strategize marketing campaigns. This includes new item launches and new store openings


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or Communications

  • 4 years minimum experience in marketing

  • Proficiency in social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Tiktok, Twitter)

  • Proficiency in Wix

  • Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)

  • Fluency in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator

  • Strong grasp of English language and grammar/usage

  • Experience with email newsletter platforms

  • Proactivity and curiosity

  • Excellent project management skills
